The Result of Educational Journal (Reading Comprehension)

my beloved readers, How are you today? I hope you are always have a good day.
It's will be my last post from journal with the title The Use of Story Map in
Improving the Year Four Pupils’ Ability in Reading Comprehension. This time I
will discussing the result of the journal, it's only about the general idea of
Findings and Discussion part dan conclusion. Check this out !
Based
on reflective journal entries from the use of story maps, giving influence on
teaching and learning activities, among others:
a)
Using a story
map. Story maps are a good way to apply to attract students' attention, and
improve their reading comprehension to answer questions about the elements of
text literature.
b) Pupils involvement. Story maps help create
interactive teaching.

Improving
teaching practices. Students prefer to do direct activities rather than
listening to the teacher during the lesson. Students actively participate in
contributing and discussing with their friends through the use of story maps.
Then
it can be concluded that the application of story map can improve teaching
practice. This can be seen from the response of students who are basically
easily bored with learning activities, becoming more motivated when the teacher
introduces the application of story maps. This is because it is easy to get
interesting and colorful teaching aids. The story map was effectively for
learning activities, it was attracting pupils’ attention to learn about
literary elements. The story maps make
pupils more comprehending the text.
